Laura Howell spent 30 years inside complex commercial organizations, eBay, Expedia, Vrbo, and SodaStream, building revenue functions from the inside, not advising them from the outside. She built those functions intentionally small in the beginning, giving her firsthand insight into what scrappy, manual, and startup operations actually look like, and a sharp eye for spotting silos and ineffective process.

From there, she scaled. She built teams from scratch and grew them to global operations, owning portfolios exceeding a billion dollars and leading teams of 200 plus across four continents. Over her career, she has owned business development, client services and onboarding, technical implementation and connectivity, sales operations, strategy and analytics, and account management and partnerships teams. End to end client engagement, from first conversation through long term partnership, is her expertise.

Her expertise lives in the part of revenue leadership most people never see: the strategy behind the front line. The three to five year plan. The built in redirects for when things break. And the operating systems, tools, people, and process, that make a strategy actually hold under pressure.

Through Vellara Strategies, Laura partners with CEOs and founders who need an experienced operator in the room, someone who has built the org chart, rebuilt a broken revenue motion, and made teams actually execute. Her work spans three areas: operating model design, revenue enablement and go to market architecture, and people and talent, including AI integration and adoption.
